We had the pleasure of having the beautiful Virginia Kerr from KMOV's Great Day St. Louis at Go!Spa a few weeks ago to try our favorite manicure -- Shellac! Virginia's manicurist was Wonder who took GREAT care of her and explained what Shellac is ALL about! OPI Obsessed: Pirates of the Caribbean

Ahoy, mateys!

OK we'll admit, at first we weren't too excited about OPI's newest collection but The Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides collection pleasantly surprised us!  These colors capture the island feel & the mystery of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. They are bright, beautiful and perfect for spring & summer!

We LOVE the names, too! From top left: Skull & Glossbones, Steady as She Rose, Planks a Lot, Sparrow Me the Drama (we love this pink!), Stranger Tides and Mermaid's Tears (another fave).

Annie gave our owner Joey a pedi using Sparrow Me the Drama... we LOVED this pink!  I tried Mermaid's Tears and added a light blue glitter on top (I always find a matching glitter...) and it looks great with all of my spring outfits!

"Okay Girlfriends, from the girl that NEVER wears color on her nails but owns a spa! LOL! I tried CND Shellac in "Tutti Frutti" before I left for a 10 day vacation to the beach. It lasted a full 14 days without chipping. My cuticle did grow out pretty early so I would personally do a light color in the future but what I really liked was that when I took it off, my nails were strong & maintained a beautiful shape as well! I'm trying "Negligee" next! And by the way, my polish was dry within seconds so I didn't have to worry about smudging them at all!"

OPI Obsessed: We ♥ Shatter!

Girlfriend - we all know & love Black Shatter polish by OPI!  It creates such a fun effect over any OPI color.

 We are always obsessing over the latest & greatest OPI polishes. Black Shatter & the Katy Perry Collection were a hit but we're really looking forward to these NEW shatter colors! OPI has done it again with the colorful shatters coming out this summer as part of the Shatter Line and the Glam Slam by Serena Williams French Open Collection.

 

OPI's Shatter polish has been such a hit because it creates such a different look & texture on the nail. Its so much fun to try the Shatter polish over all of our favorite OPI polishes! Check out the new White & Red Shatter above, and the classic Black Shatter! We think White Shatter would look great over almost ANY color!
